Wow I am so lucky to have such a fantastic support network. After my last blog I got 40 messages of support, advice, and encouragement. I had a talk with my boyfriend and we set up some new boundaries for his drinking. He was very sincere and said he would do anything to make our relationship work. I'm happy but only time will tell if he can follow through or not.
All of my orchids died. The breaker flipped at night and the heat was then off all night. I have to hire an electrician to install a new higher voltage outlet.
Is anyone an electrician here? How much is a reasonable price for this?

Sorry about your orchid house. I think they have temperature alarms for greenhouses, as long as it's not too far away. They work kind of like a baby monitor, same concept.
