So due to fortunate happenstance, along with doing webwork for one of the departments at my university, I also have the amazing opportunity to work a few hours a week as a photographer's assistant. Win!
Well the photographer I work under insisted that I take home the Nikon D3 to practice with, so I can be more fluent when shooting events on company time. I could barely stammer my eagerness to take it out.
