okay so im having a mid youth crisis partly because im turning 24 in a couple of days and i have no career and no prospects, so i need your help guys.
I am currently unemployed and have been applying for jobs left, right and centre everything and anything and havent gotten one response it fucking sucks. our city was huge on mining and the mining companies folded and all the people in the offices have pretty much taken all the admin/reception jobs around town, and even hospitality and retail is being way 2 picky now days.
sooooo, i do have some qualifications in graphic design, art based stuff, and event management but i dont wanna do anything like that for work.
I have a ticket booked to canada for january which changes things as well, kinda.
i wanted to do hairdressing for a long time but never wanted to actually do it cause my mum is a hairdresser and we dont get along and i didnt wanna be anything like her, but i did used to help her by passing up rollers and sweeping etc etc. so my dilemma is, do i postpone my ticket to canada as far as i possibly can and try out to get an apprenticeship and maybe do a year here in australia and then head to canada and finish it there (and yes obviously be broke while i'm there, but i really wanna live there again), or should i just plod along and try and get any job just so i can save and head to canada in january and maybe you never know i could start an apprenticeship there.
i dont know im lost and i cant find any help from my parents, please help me!
