Apparently it is the new black. Which sounds like a compliment.
It was supposed to be an insult. I was told I am ugly. That my sides being shaved makes me less beautiful.
I love me just the way I am. Just the way I look. I do the not look the way I do for anyone else. Not for another's satisfaction. It is an expression of myself.
I am sick of people who look "different" being told they are not beautiful.
We are beautiful the way we are.
