well, my new job is total bullshit. the manager caps the week at 30 hours and doesnt pay overtime...yet the other workers are working 35-40 hours...but only getting 30 hours pay. today i worked 10 hours, but only got credit for 8. is it just me or is that fucked up...and illegal?? well, after one day on the job i am already looking for another.

yeah, I think that's wrong.

I don't know if i'm way outta line, but I think that you're supposed to get paid for what you work.

And in a situation where you don't get paid, it's usually because you didn't work.
