its funny, back in the day when artists where inspired by others, they were hailed as masters. many did tributes to previous artists, such as titians venus of urbino to one of giorgiones works. there were even names given to groups of people influenced by other artists, like the caravaggisti and the rubenists. now contemporary artists who are inspired by others are seen as hacks, or artists with no originality or style...artists who just copy from others. its strange to see how society of today constantly demands different and better. we have shaped a world in which there can no longer be a truly original idea. i do not believe this to be true, but society makes it so. ah yes, now back to some drawing that is influenced by brom and kaneda.
