I'm off to Quebec City for a couple of days for a conference and then off to Pittsburgh as soon as I get back to see my parents, who don't actually live there or anything, but that's another story altogether.
I've never been to Quebec City before, but I hear its quite lovely. Hopefully I can snap a few pictures when I'm not listening to boring science talks. The conference location is at this totally posh resort. However, I'm staying a mile and a half away in the Canadian equivalent of the Holiday Inn. At least I'll get in a little exercise.
PS: Look at me actually updating my journal more than once a month. We'll see how long that lasts.
