Hmm.. Epic typo in my last post. In no way does the song "Ball and Chain" cheer up anyone.

I have found a nest of Dashboard Confessional fans. A friend asked to learn a song, so I spent an afternoon learning it so I could teach her. Fortunately, the song is epicly easy. She can't really play guitar at all, but I didn't mind working with her. Ya gotta start somewhere. So I taught her power chords. The song is all power chords. Should work out. I had a good time but we've got work to do.

I went on to teach a dentist and a mechanic the same song in the same day, both of which happened to be Dashboard fans. I found yet another fan tonight, but I didn't have time to teach him. Had to get home, blog, write my crush and sleep. I still need to do the latter two.

I think I can like this Dashboard Confessional. Something about being an acoustic band appeals to me...
