Because I know a guy who has a friend-- It's (possibly) not me!-- who said something dumb once... possibly yesterday... and he didn't hear from cute girl at all for the rest of the day. And he knew he probably should have left well enough alone. Knew it. Didn't stop him...
You're right. Cute things work a lot better. But, every now and then, Dumb Things rears it's ugly head...
That friend of a guy I know will just have to wait until tomorrow. Yep. Plenty of time to think of cute things to say instead.
