Not sure there's already a topic about it, but its something i care about, so i'll start... years ago, there used to be a "guide" called "book your own fucking life" by MRR. There was a section in it called crash pad, it'd allow travellers to get in touch with other people worldwide, get info, contacts etc about the whereabouts when travelling. Thanx to my DIY network and this guide, I have been able to travel through several countries, including the USA and Canada without spending hundreds of $$ on a hotel room. I have meet some of my best friends that way. And it was always nice to find someone to put you up and show you around in an unknown place... So, I thought... why not do it again? So i'll go first :)
I live in the south of France, and would gladly put up anyone touring Europe and especially this part of France. I could show you around, put you up for a day/night or more (depending how it all goes and on your plans as well). You'll find a warm place to stay, shower/bath, vegetarian/vegan food. Sort of live in the mountains so people who like to go for hikes, swim in lakes, ski (during winter ofc), rock climbing,... etc are more than welcome.
There's no particular conditions, basically a vegetarian non smoking place but you can smoke or eat meat outside, we're more into alternative, underground culture, but hey, we're open minded.
