Annnnnnnnnnnd..... Asheville is shut down for an evening because of the ice and snow from today. Wheeeeeeee!

I sat in my lofty, warm Durango and watched some poor creature in a Monte Carlo slide down an iced section of hill near my house this afternoon. I laughed and found it pretty fucking humorous at the time.... until I thought about the fact that I had to ditch a $24,000 show car because of ice two winters ago. And it was broken into.. and my window smashed that night. Guess it's not so funny when you put it into perspective.

What gets me is the people who apparently panic at the first sign of winter weather and overrun the grocery for bread and milk. I went to the grocery store this afternoon. After it'd been snowing all day long. I bought sweet potatos, a frozen pizza for the kids, some cheese, a Cosmo, and an avacado.

There were no eggs or I would've bought eggs. But the snow-crazies apparently needed a dozen eggs with their weather-induced insanity.

Ok. I've just found a really awesome website... All kinds of collectibles and movie figures... I see someone's Christmas present in the near future. It won't be what I want to buy you, Duke, or anything as grandios, but it's still something awesome that I hope you love.

Off to buy....
