Yay! I got a new job! Good money, great hours. More on that later... I start tomorrow. Can't know if I'll love or hate it. 
This weekend has been interesting.
Friday night was for celebratory hot wings and high caffeine intake. We curled up and halfway watched 'Along Came a Spider.'
Yesterday, I worked some hours at VS, which means more caffeine, yum! Afterward, my family cooked out and had all of the many kids playing outside in the yard. Duke came over and we went to a bonfire held by one of his friends. Surprisingly, since I hate crowds and abhor strangers, I had a really good time. It was relaxing and everyone there was so very friendly.
I've been reading a lot lately, too. I need to buy another book or two for lunch breaks this week. I have plenty of food stocked up for taking a bag lunch to work, so I'll need reading materials as well. I always read when I munch alone. Maybe I'll do that later.
For now, I think I need to straighten up the house a bit and go watch the last of LotR: Fellowship of the Ring with my younger son. He's enthralled.
Also, Duke is coming over in a bit and I'm looking forward to some quality time for us!
