The only thing that you can do is "be there" for them and help them get through it.
I have had some pretty tough times lately, and while everyone thought I was strong and that I could handle it alone, all that I really needed was a shoulder to cry on and ears to vent to...
You might also remind them that everything happens for a reason...that is what got me through...

Well, our reunion went well, better than i expected. i'll post a couple pics later. i thought i didn't know anything about my father, but it made me feel a little guilty to realize that i knew our father much better than my sister does. My brother-in-law was fun to talk to, even though we have pretty much nothing in common.
