Hope everyone is having a Happy Bunny Day!
4 PM Update...
Well, my vacation did not turn out as I expected. Turns out the friend I went with decided she wanted to be more than friends.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with her, but I really not interested in her that way. This came out when we got to the hotel Wednesday night and she wants to kiss me.... Oh shit, I'm thinking... I'm 5 hours from home, in her car, scheduled to spend 4 more days in a hotel room with her. (Yes, I am niave, I guess. Of course she expected something more, since we had decided to share a room....doohhh) Right decision or not, I decided to play it off. I told her I was tired and really needed to sleep.
I spent the rest of the vacation just trying to stay busy. I made sure we walked enough everyday to cause my defective knees severe pain, so I wouldn't have to fake it when we got back to the room. I feel bad, but the physical pain seemed easier to deal with than the idea of hurting her feelings. She has really opened up to me in talking to me about things I don't believe she has ever shared with anyone else. I didn't want to crush that, I want her to know it's OK to be herself and trust others. Some of the things she's taught me about myself.
To be honest, I also had the selfish feelings of worrying about how she would react if she knew my true feelings. I didn't want to be stuck in a 5 hour road trip with a bitter and angry woman. Considered coming clean and taking AmTrak home, but I didn't have the balls
Oh well... Now what?
On a happier note, I snuck out of the room to join the San Antonio's SG's for karaoke night It happened to be on my birthday, so I'm pretending they were throwing me a birthday party 
Met VDUB16VGTI and the lovely HIBISKISS and WIX. And the highlight of my week, finally got to meet the incredibleHAPPYGRL. Hibiskiss has pics of the event in her journal . Thanks much for welcoming me, you guys Rock!
PS: SG folks are so cool...thanks to everyone who wished me happy birthday!!! So different from last year, even my own mother forgot. I'm a bit overwelmed, but in a good way!
