Yes, I still suck at this... There really hasn't been much of interest going on, so I'll skim the highlights....
Car is fixed... bike is fixed... Cicatrix's b-day was fun... Just got off the phone purchasing Cicatrix's and I's season tickets for the Dallas Stars!
Now I want to tell you about a dream I had last night:
My dept. was supporting the super bowl, which makes no sense, but whatever. A guy I work with was being stupid as normal and I told him so, he got all pissed off and told me to just go back to my desk. I was done there at the sidelines anyway, so I was like 'whatever' and went back to my desk. Since this was a dream, my desk was located in my old army barracks. Once I got back to my desk, I noticed I was getting logged off my computer. Once I got logged off, I couldn't get back in, Now for whatever reason, I guessed I had been fired. I went to find my boss. I did run into one of my coworkers who wouldn't tell me if I was fired, but said I should talk to one of the guys at corporate who was upstairs about a different job. So, I did. He told me things looked good for the job he had in mind, so he would give me a call next week. I still don't know what's going on, so I go looking for my boss. Can't find him, so I try to log in again. Account is still locked. I use one of my back door accounts and find that the corporate directory now has me listed as a contractor.
I was pretty well freaking out. My boss was obviously avoiding me, and even the folks in HR were nowhere to be found. Finally I just gave up and left. The most frustrating thing is that I had obviously been fired, but no one would tell me why, or even really confirm it.
Anyway... I'll catch up on comments and stuff later this week, I promise.
