I had an awesome weekend! I kicked it at Alex's house friday night and we walked up to his parents house (because he lives in a barn down from the house) and its fucking HUGE. Its one of those houses that you'd see on cribs, i swear to god lol; marble counter tops up the ying yang! It made me feel a lot better after my mom was such a bitch lol.
On Saturday i went to Studio 7 with my friend Melissa to see Drown Mary, AOD, and The Braindead play. I missed Drown Mary and that upset me, and then I found out that the show was delayed 2 hours so AOD and The Braindead only got to play like 4-5 songs each. It sucked, so i left. On my way out i ran into Hodgy, who i havent talked to since march, and i was like "HODGY!!" and he was totally cool. I thought he hated me for the longest time, but i told him to give me a call if there was anything going on at his place and then i left.
Around 1:30 hodgy called me and told me to come kick it so i went over there and i asked him whats been going on with Beef Kurtain's "hiatus" and he told me that their drummer got a DUI and decided he needed time for himself. What a lame reason to break up a band. After that i started talking about how mean he was to me the last time i saw him and he told me that he was mad at me because Lillian (his ex-- well..his...i dunno..."thing"?) found out i had slept in his bed on night and she freaked and i dunno, it was all a bunch of shit. But we're cool now and that makes me smile
.
So, that was my weekend in a nutshell. Today is going to be me, doing homework, and washing my truck and putting my Dissonance and From The Fall stickers on it. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Remember kids, the best thing to come out of everott is the i-5!

Local Band of the Week: Dissonance
