Infinity Broadcasting can fucking bite me!!!
If you live in Maryland or DC, possibly even VA, you know why I'm pissed off.
My favorite radio station, the one I grew up on, the one that introduced me to bands like Garbage, The Cure, The Clash, The Ramones, Squeeze, all the bands I grew up with IS NOW A FUCKING LATIN RAP STATION!!!!!!!!
You wanna know why they did it? To please the 10% of the Latin community in DC. WHAT ABOUT THE 30-40% OF PEOPLE IN BOTH MARYLAND AND DC YOU JUST ROYALLY PISSED OFF?!
Its nothing against latin music. I don't listen to it, but I know it is in demand. But I don't get why they had to take away one of the most popular stations in Maryland and DC. I know for a fact that there are stations that are listened to less than HFS was.
This is just fucking stupid.
HFS is the station that made me realize, that I wanted to work on the radio. It made me actually set a goal for myself. And now its gone. And honestly, as stupid as it may sound since its just a radio station, a part of me doesn't know what to do. HFS always made me happy. But its gone now and there is no station in Maryland like it.
If theres no HFS, theres no HFStival. No HFStival, means I have nothing to look forward to in the summer.
The entry I was talking about in my last post, I'll type up when I'm not so pissed off.
