Sorry to hear you had to call of the visit. I can understand the "cash and weather problems," but mostly I just like the way those words sound together.
Joan of Arc just played here I think, but I was actually referring to the silent film. It's my standard visual remedy for an ailing mind.

So, where did you get the design for the 40s/50s space ship tat? Was it flash or custom? My biggest problem with getting a tattoo so far has been deciding actually what to get - the funny thing is, I went to an art show last month and fell in love with one of the paintings and was thinking about getting something like it as a tattoo:

you were interested in my analog synth collection? nothing quite as cool as a serge modular, but then again most of my analog synths came from friends, pawn shops, etc...

Roland SH101
Sequential Circuits Six Track
Roland TB-303 + TR-606
Roland Juno 60
Roland Juno 106
Roland Jx-8p (ok 1/2 digital)

not sure how I ended up with so much roland stuff - I guess it was cheap and available at the time.

my biggest regret - opportunity to by an SCI Pro One from former roommate - didn't have the money at the time. uhg! Its go such a great filter!

5am---pulling ribbons of water from sidewalks with shoe heels. Rain falls and puddles give, then burst skyward like ripe plums. Trees stretch elderly fingers towards the opposite side of the street refusing the moonlight where they mesh together and meet.

thanks for the suggestion. While I do adore Nick Drake, the music I'm looking for right now is decidedly more schlocky. Think "Georgy Girl" by the Seekers or "Summer Song" by Chad & Jeremy, and you'll see what I'm getting at. Songs that have lyrics like "I think you're really groovy" and "Let's go to a movie" get extra points.

Love your favorite band list, by the way. mmmm... can. what are you studying in school?

slow and steady, darling One. slow and steady wins the race. you don't have to make nuffing public you dont' wanna. smile

puke hungover again- Went to a Jack's 31 b-day party in the Wedge and drank Thai wiskey, gin and tonics, and countless beers and hung out with Wade (aka Sally-the kid primps more than anyone I know) ,Kyja and a large helping of the shallow end of the gene pool and watched reverse evolution unfold. People hurling themselves at one another like lemmings off a cliff....
