wow I should have birthdays more often.
I feel like I should be a tad more active here but don't seem to have a lot of time. With all the working I do. But hell thats nothing new.

Anyway I was on vacation last week and went out of town with my girl antid0te and caught the most amazing sight I have ever seen. aurora borealis
they filled more than half the sky. We layed and sat on the beach of a pond near Lake Superior and were in awe. I don't think I'll ever see anything like it again.

So if you have seem the northern lights was it an awesome experiance for you?

I have seen them many times. Often from the shores of Lake Superior. The most special time for me though was last November, when my friend Jen came to visit me on her birthday. You could see them from the cities. We actually watched them from the airport as we were waiting for her flight to board. It wasn't as clear as it was up north, but the way it filled the skies around the airport was amazing. It seemed like the skies had lit up just to make our goodbyes that much more special. I might have thought that the two of us imagined it all if I had not seen this thread that neodrunk started about it. It was the perfect end to an amazing weekend and I doubt I will ever forget it.

My favorite incarnation of the Aurora was seen from a field in Winnipeg with a head full of acid.
