I have seen them many times. Often from the shores of Lake Superior. The most special time for me though was last November, when my friend Jen came to visit me on her birthday. You could see them from the cities. We actually watched them from the airport as we were waiting for her flight to board. It wasn't as clear as it was up north, but the way it filled the skies around the airport was amazing. It seemed like the skies had lit up just to make our goodbyes that much more special. I might have thought that the two of us imagined it all if I had not seen this thread that neodrunk started about it. It was the perfect end to an amazing weekend and I doubt I will ever forget it.

My favorite incarnation of the Aurora was seen from a field in Winnipeg with a head full of acid.

Late happy birthday, and yes, that was me talking to the helium voiced Missy. I even tried to humbly announce it in the SGTC, but no one else has posted to the topic, making me feel kind of weird.

The weirderst part is that no one locally seems interested in the SG DVD which I'm looking to give away.
