I went to the Comet tonight. I intended to arrive about nine or so.
The Comet is on the other side of town from me, I never go out to Northside or anywhere NEAR there on a regular basis. Hence the reason I was completely fucking lost. I spent an hour on bizarre backroads that put me nowhere near where I was supposed to be...stupid mapquest.
I showed up at 10, and recognized no one, and I'm assuming no one recognized me. I sat about for a half hour and decided to pack it in and go home.
I'm just not sure I belong. I hate going to bars, I mean I actually DREAD going to bars, especially alone. I don't drink, and I'm not the type to walk up to complete strangers and make conversation...it just isn't me. I'm okay if I'm there with someone I know, but otherwise I feel awkward and kinda stupid.

Sorry we missed you. I didnt get there till about 10:45. We don't get there much earlier because the band doesnt start playing till about 11.
