End of Summer '04
Weird stuff lately... My Spidey sense told me someone at work was gunning for me. I've been getting a lot of positive attention and I guess that pissed off the wrong person. Instead of working he's been checking my work and then reporting anything done that was less than perfect. I'm used to this shit so I usually ignore it. But it was brought to my attention rather dramatically. It seems my "special buddy" put a Yahoo Chat on my PC where he ripped me to upper management. I showed this to my supervisor and to say the guy is in deep shit is the understatement of the century. It's a total "hostile workplace" bust. He just hit the wrong button on his IM and there you go. I have always been lucky like this. I don't fuck with people and it takes a shitload to get me mad. A friend told me, "Don't feed it." meaning don't engage in a pissing contest, just do the job that got him pissed in the first place. This "Turn the Other Cheek shit" is pretty handy.
