Summer '04
Started strong and continued same. Rae and Midian's P&H Party was very cool. Met some people who have become friends: JJ, CryForMeSky, NewMatic, Reprobate, ToxicBoy
Then of course there are the inimitable Xanax Boy Crew: Rae, Midian, Homewrecker, Pippi, and Lenore--XB HQ Portland OR.
Got a job, got back in debt. Life in these here United States of Texas or Taxes--take your pick.
More SG Events: Star Strip Too, Afternoon SGLBC Coffee, and Redneck Bowling.
Working late at job, waited three weeks for paycheck and like a drunken sailor on his first night in port I went to the strip club... It seems that Star Strip Too is on the way home...
Note to Rae: Remember that exotic dancer you said was rude to me? She remembered me from before and offered the $30.00 "regular" lapdance or the $40.00 "dirty slut" lap dance. I took the $30.00 lap dance--because I'm a cheap bastard. It was easily the best check I have ever had for testicular Cancer. Damn, if I'd have gone with the $40.00 version she would have had a trophy because she has a very strong grip. I limped out...
To balance my instinctual side I have joined the Haiku Group. This can only be a good thing. Haiku rocks and it's great discipline for any writer. Drexel keeps us rockin' in 5-7-5 beats!
I let go a few people on my friends list. Noting personal, but I kept the people who post in my jounal or exchange an email every now and then. It is very nice to have people like Geraldine, unraveled, and aladdinvain check-in with their wit, humor, and humanity.
Checked out tandem sky-diving and I'm more excited than scared which is a good sign given I have an intense fear of heights.
Oh, and Xanax Boy has a September Edition...
