Have you gotten to that stage when it's like "oh, fuck, when did it get to 4 years??" I've been with my girlfriend for like 6 years, in two weeks time, and it's INSANE thinking that it's like a 5th of my life with one person (who has immense patience and hasn't killed me yet :P) ha

I was saying that to my boyfriend yesterday hahaha but I think it's because it feels so natural being together. The years just go by and ,when you notice it, BAAM! :) hahaha 

Haha! I feel like that when I tell people my father is Cape Verdian. Then I have to explain where it is, how it came about, the mixture of ethnicities...etc. sometimes I want to just say it's Portuguese and African, but it absolutely more complex than that, with immeasurable mixtures of more cultures and ethnicities than that. Then I tried to explain it was like a creole culture and someone tried to tell me there is no such thing as creole. I wanna be like oh just research it, but when some has an ignorance of something I know about I have such an urge to educate them. Anyways so funny.

I spent a week in Lisbon in 2002.  Cool town.
