im bad mother 
louis was cranky so i started doing some stuff to cheer him up...it was working...i was messing about with brians old torch from when he was a copper, its a really heavy one, and its huge. i was messing about lighting my face, and louis was laughing.....then i dropped it by accident and it landed on his head.
the guilt i felt was so strong and severe, it reminded me of christmas day 2006.
he cried his eyes out so bad brian called his mum( she was a midwife) and asked what we should do....she told us signs to look out for...but that he would be fine.
he was fine...and this morning he is perfectly normal......but i still feel so utterly horrible.
i know these things happen.....but fuck me...when they do....it shakes you up so bad...especially if you are personally responsible.

One thing I've learn about kids is: if they don't see you worried, they don't cry, only if it really hurts. If they were crying only because they got scared, if you look at them just curios, and not worried, they usually stop. Is a good way to see if they got scared or hurt.
I don't have kids myself but I've taken care of a lot of them, loads of times...
