so, the possibility of a strike at work lingers on.
we had a deadline of aug 31st, which came and went, they decided to keep talking thru friday, still no deal. now, they have agreed to an extension of the old contract until midnight september 15th. which is cool cuz that means i get monday off with pay. and i would think that they should be able to come up with something in the next couple weeks, but from what i understand, the last time there was a strike, in 1993, this exact same thing happened, and they walked out after the two week extension, so we'll just have to wait and see.
in other news... i'm going to the Michigan football game today, hooray for college football season starting back up
