so the contract was up last night at midnight, the deadline came and went with no deal, but they decided to keep talking and kept talking til about 6 this morning, but still no deal. so we went to work today and didnt strike and worked under an extension of the current contract. hopefully this will continue until they work something out, it seems like it will. and if that happens, i'll get monday off with pay

anyway, what once looked like a very hopeless situation now seems a bit brighter. keep your fingers crossed.
