ok, well i just wanted to thank everyone who commented on my last journal. i was surprised that so many people could see where i was coming from, that isnt usually the case with most things. looks like i just need to relax, not think so much and stop putting unnecessary pressure on myself. easier said than done though.
i had an unexpected little vacation yesterday and today. i called in sick to work wednesday and took my car in, and where i work the rules with sick time, personal time and vacation time are kinda weird, and without really getting into it, if you take one sick day, youre better off taking two even if you dont need it, which i didnt, but i stayed home anyway. and another long story short, my car, or truck, its an explorer so its not really either, but anyway, it crapped out on me, many things were wrong with it, and $1250 later, its fixed. which really sucks, cuz its old and thats probably more than its worth. oh well, at least its running and actually driving it today it was like new again, so hopefully it will last me a little while longer... a year or so would be nice
so anyway, i'm back to work tomorrow, off for 3 work for 1, off for 2 work for 1, off for 2... i could get used to that.

Edit: I just read your last journal entry and I have to say that I am one of those people that knows exactly where you are coming from. I avoid letting people see the real me, beyond the surface and small talk. I do this because someone doesn't like you right off the bat then well ok, fuck them. But if you let someone in and they really see who you are and then they don't want anything to do with you... thats the worst letdown.
