file this in the "i totally saw it coming" file...

i had lunch with a guy at work today and in a round about way he told me that the girl i like has a boyfriend. i didnt ask, just during the course of his story he mentioned that she did. i'm bummed, but not all surprised. oh well. frown

I know what you're saying. However, to be crass about it: all important works of art have a current owner, but it doesn't mean it won't get sold tomorrow. My REAL point (and NOT that girls are chattel) is: one, most girls that you find attractive are found attractive by other men (and women), and two, that people don't like to be alone - so the chances that the girl has a current are pretty good. I would get the boyfriend sent to prison for something - or kill him - oh, or get him sent to prison FOR HIS OWN MURDER. Now THAT would be cool. skull
