well, we won our softball game yesterday. i again didnt play so well. i actually got a hit, but thats only cuz the other team thought i was good and played very deep and i dropped a weak pop up in from of their outfielders. that didnt work my second time up. i played third base which i'm not used to, and thankfully no balls were hit to me.
going to my dad's for a fathers day BBQ today, need to run over to best buy or some place similar to pick up some dvd's for him. my dad is the hardest person to shop for. he can never give good suggestions. but i got him a dvd player for christmas and just yesterday he called and rattled off a few dvd's he wanted. nothing like shopping at the last minute. of course if i cant find them at the store, he can wait a week or so for amazon to deliver them.
so i guess i should go take a shower and get moving. hope everyone is happy and healthy and having a great weekend.

Dude, Dude, Dude. Went to the game last night, and of course tonight. Never had a 24 hour baseball extravaganza like it. First, Piazza night -- seriously, I sit there, turn to my friend and say "Da Meat Hook is going Yard" -- swear on a Mets Media Guide, as I SAY it Glavine is throwing the gopher ball -- so I see the Hook go yard on the pitch I call it -- see a Cameron wallk-off dinger, see the return of THE PASSION OF THE REYES on my birthday no less for his first ABs all year (a sign from the baseball gods, I think) on Merengue Night at Shea, amidst a sea of Domincan Flags, and Another Cameron walk-off hit, this one in extra innings -- total insanity. I'm convinced this is a team of destiny, and this is the best birthday ever! Thanks for the shout-out. Have an awesome weekend.
