Well....
After several years away from this site I am back.
What's happened since I've been gone? Well, I'm married, have two kids, have a different job that isn't much different from my old job. But overall things are quite different than when I left. I'm sure the site is just as different. I wonder how many of my friends are still around on here? Probably not many, have to go check that out. My friends list is down to 5, thanks to those who didn't remove me. But seriously why didn't you?! lol. Maybe deep down you knew I'd be back. Well I sure didn't. It was actually my wife who in a round about way talked me into coming back, even though she didn't exactly know she was doing it.
We've been married nearly 6 years and together for nearly 8, We don't get out much, it's tough with the kids, but I know she is looking to get out more and that just got me thinking about all the SG parties and things that I could never bring myself to go to before. Nerves, anxiety, fear, all those things prevented me from going before. But now that I'm not looking for anyone and I have Jen to go with me to these things I think it would be a whole lot easier. So we'll see what happens.
I gave myself a 3 month gift subscription, figured it was the easiest way to get my old profile back. Still bummed that my original name "Doug" is taken. Even though when I try to find that account it just takes me to the main page.
Just had to check something, February 18th 2006 was my last blog. The "goodbye" blog. Crazy how time flies.
So, if you knew me before please stop by and say hi. If you didn't know me but still want to say hi that's cool too, I could use some new friends.
