I have a new townhouse!!!

Just signed my new lease today Its really nice. 1600sq feet + basement 2 bedrooms, living room, dinning room, kitchen, tons of closet space, 1.5 baths. Now I just have to move all my crap over there .. ahhh

So who wants to help me move my 400lb washer up the tiny flight of stairs?

Yikes good luck getting that washer up the stairs! We had this really nice couch that we couldn't get up the stairs. We just had to throw it away, it was sad.

This weekend was great I got to watch the HBO special with Les, Bathory, and SYH653. The night included some drinks, Pee Wee Herman movie (my first time seeing it), Video Games, and Steak and Shake at 6am all and all a welcome break from my sometimes monotonous weekends.

Two towers extra footage: mostly character development. Some scenes were slightly truncated in the theatrical release, so those were resotred. And the Battle for Helm's Deep has a slightly different conclusion. smile Oh, and Treebeard's poetry.

I finally finished my SB set I think it turned out ok given it was my first black and white set ever.

For those that are interested. I shot this set with a Sony S85 digital camera, tripod and self timer. Lighting was done in a dark room with 1 or 2 (depending on the shot) 500w daylight balanced...

more and more I am thinking of moving to Canada... one of my friends/former business partners is moving their... his health insurance in the US - $425/month. In Canada $36. We were joking around and he suggested we get married... that way I could get Canadian citizenship (since thats how he got his). Probably wont happen this year but maybe in a few years ill...

I think it's pretty....I would want even more shadows, to accentuate the little curves across the chest and stomache muscles, but that looks awesome. Did you light all from one side, or is there a light on the left that's not covering as much?

that's how I want to do my lighting, but people always complain about shadows on the set. I wonder if you could set one light behind the subject....like behind and to your left....to get rid of those without losing the cool light.... Hmm.....Experiments!!!!

Halloween was awesome smile.. Mikael, Les, Bathory, Sabine, SYH653, and some other people i didnt know .. Music, conversation, alcohol, weird movie, and of course curly chilly cheese fries made for a great time smile. We will have to do it again sometime
