well...nothing really went as planned this weekend, but i had fun anyway.
friday night a friend came over and we drank and talked till 7 in the morning. she's so fucking beautiful. her most recent ex was joe...the "some kind of relationship" i had in asheville. so we all talked about him a lot. he wasn't always such an angry asshole...and neither of us knows how to help him.
on saturday, we got coffee, then i took the kids to the pool. while driving around, i found a yard sale. got an awesome 1978 model sewing machine with table for 30$. now i can make some con outfits! just have to remember how to use the machine.
later that night, kendra, the kids, and i...went over to the freespace and enjoyed the fire/drum circle. kendra made us all some practice poi. don't know if i'll ever get any good at it though.

i'm worried about my health. i was trying to convince myself it was something else...but i think my blood sugar is what has been making me feel dead. i haven't really had a problem with it in a few years...but the symptoms add up. i'm not very hungry, but when i eat, i crash afterward. fatique, headache...can't keep my eyes open at all. i wake up bloated, barely able to move. i haven't been eating too bad, so this really bothers me. i'm going to modify my diet to only natural foods for the next two weeks, and hope that helps. if not, i'll have to see a doctor again. i know i would fail the test...i just don't want to be under doctor supervision again, and back to pricking my finger all day long. i don't like my body holding me back.
