sorry i haven't posted in so long...i've been busy...mainly with not getting enough sleep.
i went out friday night to meet up with some atlanta sg's at el myr...but the only people who showed up were darko, and llona...along with her little sister. i still had lots of fun, and we all split a pint 'o beer. i hope i didn't talk darko's head off too much with my lectures on religion, racism, and social theory.
before i foung the sg's, i met a few local people...they seemed pretty cool, and i hope i bump into them again. the bar was really fun...kind of like a happy, alternate diminsion of vincent's ear.
someone i knew got stabbed to death in asheville where i used to hang out. while i didn't like the guy, and he had very little merit for the gift of life...i've never had someone i've known murdered before. i know have a face to put to the dramatization of the action in my head. that makes two people i know in asheville dying in the same week.
good thing i moved to atlanta.
saturday, we took the kids to the inman park festival. the kids had fun, and i got sunburned.
today it is rainy...and a relief. contrast makes me happy.

That's crazy he got murdered. It's scary. Good thing you're away from there. Of course, I guess Atlanta isn't really any safer, but still.
I'm glad it rained today too. I like the rain.
