i had to pick up the kids from their grandmother's house on thursday. it was so great to have my family whole again.

there was no place for us all to stay in atlanta, so i took the family back to north carolina, and came back here this morning. went to work on one hour of sleep. however, before i left asheville, a friend told me some things that made me feel really good about life. she was concerrned that the family was breaking up...so i informed here that this is only temporary till we get shit together. she told me that i was one of the few mothers in asheville that she thinks is a good parent. she's a very critical person, so that comment meant a lot to me.

went by and saw joe before i left town, which felt good. i think things are finally comfortable between us. vanuslux said he was going to talk to joe about what he means to our family...and that makes me very happy.

as a side note...if anyone wants to hang out some time in atlanta, let me know.
