The outfits rock

The dresses look fantastic! Well done you! As for backache? Co-codamol and valium, washed down with a good brandy works for me xxx

I'm taking the morning off from exercising. My arms are still killing me from the past two days. I'm taking today as a "healing" day. Well, maybe I'll try some light exercise later in the day... I don't know yet. Once Steve gets home from work I'm going to need to walk over to the store, so maybe I'll count the walk as today's workout....

YAY! I ended up getting all the cutting for the gown done last night. I cheated a little bit... I only cut one back skirt piece and just made it wider then what it was supposed to be. I may have to trim it a little more to reduce the waist size a little more, but it should work.

I did a little exercise again...

w00t for cheating at sewing! biggrin I be it's going to come out just beautifully! Bollywood definitely takes some strong arms to do - but it's good that you're having fun and have goals. My 'office' has become 'storage' pretty much, so no workout space for me. frown

the exercise thing sounds interesting!

I tried to get started on the second gown last night. I had one HUGE problem with that though... Silly little me forgot to take measurements of the child I'm making the gown for!! I ended up only being able to cut one thing... the sleeves. I now have 3 days to cut the whole gown (minus a could little pieces I have cut for...

I'm not getting too much done so far today either. I'm going to need to work on getting the gown cut today, though. I'm going to have the girls clear the livingroom floor so I have room to do it. I'm going to need to get to Walmart, though to get more thread... I'm almost out from the first gown.

(Behind the spoiler is the...

Wow - you are an amazing seamstress. That dress is gorgeous. I cannot wait to see the fruits of your labor - no matter how long it takes. wink

The ways that people can be petty are simply gross. Thank goodness people can also be wonderful and amazing. It is a nice counter balance. It sounds like your ex stood up for your children and does right by them. That is great.

Wishing you the easiest resolution to all thorny things!

Love the dresswork! You are very multi-talented, aren't you?

And doesn't your daughter look just like you? She's a peach!

And not just feedback, but also really great advice!!! Maybe we can work out a trade - belt for body goods? tongue I'm going to try to get a pic of one of the belts being worn... maybe that will help?

It's just amazing - it's like, on FB, I have all my friends - but my family, too, but even so, nobody really gets things like they do here - I can really just be me. I think I'll be sticking around for a long time!

I haven't posted pictures of myself in a really long time, so I though I'd take and post a few...
Not too much going on really. I took the day off. I'm hoping to start getting things done again tomorrow... The clock is ticking and I have 6 days to get it done. ("It" being making a gown and doing finial alterations to the other.)...

Out of 15 volunteers only 3 showed, but we'll finish it this Monday.

Bolder creek is a nice little mountain town... If you're ever in the SF bay area, let me know.

Awesome!

Yeah, I'm still behind. I'm slowly working on catching up. I really need to be able to start crossing things off my list.

I'm going to try to get the magazine done today. I only have a few more things to go into it. I'm getting ready to add the last of what I have today and see how much space is left over, if...

The more I resist linear time the more it tries to do indelicate things with my person. Time keeps happening whether I have time for it or not. We can start a mutual follow through society, eh?

I'm working on getting things together. I have 54 of 80 pages finished for the November Culture Asylum magazine. It will be available for sale online probably before it gets to the printer. You can find it at the Culture Asylum E-Store along with the back issues.

I have a few other things I wanted to get done today. I was going to work...

Are any of your products natural enough to eat?

Well, I wouldn't eat them, but several ingredients I use are of food quality. Cocoa butter, almond oil, grapeseed oil, honey...the sugar I use for sugar scrubs...

Many essential oils are safe fr the skin, but not for consumption, though... I don't recommend anyone eat them
