I'm starting to look at some of the possibilities...
IF we make it to Key West, we're going to need to find ways to make enough money to continue living there. (Right now we're living for almost free with a friend.) Well be going down there, me being the only one to have a job (online camming and such). Steve will need to get a job. We also don't know if our roommate will move down. Anyway, i've been bashing my head to try to figure out how we could afford it. I know if I can figure it out, it will make it easier to ensure it does...

...So, I have a small business that hasn't been doing much of ANYTHING; Natural Bohemian. The Problem with this in FL is the "cosmetic" manufacturing laws would make this almost impossible; $800 for each product, plus having to have an address that is ONLY for that business. Well, I can't afford TWO places in the Keys.

However, SOAP is not covered by that law! We would be able to make soap and sell it. Granted, I'd need to do all that legal business stuff. But other then that, we'd be in the clear to do it. I could sell online. Plus, I checked, I could even see if I could sell at Mallory Square. There's nothing like that for sale on the Square, and on the page, they say they're looking for different kinds of crafts they don't have already!

We were thinking of possibly changing the name if we do that to "Conch Republic Soap Company" or "Southern Most Soap Company" or something along those lines. We could even look into doing tropical kinds of soap. LOL! Maybe something with a lot of coconut??? ... hehehehe

I'm so stoked about this...

You can download the recipe in PDF format here. Let me know if you have any questions or problems. It scales up easily. We just made 26 lbs of it this weekend! smile
