The beginning of my second tattoo! A combination of two of my loves; pirates and hello kitty. It's tiny compared to another one I want to do, THAT'S going to be a whole waistband AND two ships! So, I figure we start small. This was my first time doing it sober... I feel like I was being such a baby. lol I was voting we not even fill in the eye patch, and going over it again was RIGHT OUT! I figure as we work tats little by little, I'll be more comfortable with it and will get over the panic part of it.
I get so excited for other people over their tattoos and percings... and now I'm trying to go ahead and face the music myself and start using some of this blank canvas. My mom's going to be so pissed when she sees it. LOL! She reminded me that what looks good at 30 doesn't look good at 60. She'll just have to deal with the fact that we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Either that, or Ill end up being the super-cool grandma with all the fun tattoos. hehehehe!
What do you all think about tattoos and getting "older"?
I'm 32 and getting my second tattoo... but everyone keeps saying 30 is the new 20... so I should be nearly on pace. HEHEHE!

I'm only now thinking about ink - I reckon what looks good to me now will last me long enough..
Two tattoos at 32? Pshaw! I'm 43 and will be getting my first tattoo once I complete my documentary (which will hopefully happen before I'm 44).
And a friend of mine's grandmother decided to get her first tattoo on her 73rd birthday.
