We're getting closer (I hope) to being ready to get a house... (Ex)Hubby thinks he might have a buyer for his truck. If he sells that, he'll have the money to pay off his credit issues... That plus me paying of my last $600, and we'll be ready to try shopping for a mortgage. I'm hoping we can find a lender that will front us the $8000 tax rebate to use as a downpayment. I know HUD will do it if you already have the 3.5%, but some places will monetize it for you AS your downpayment.... or so I've read.
If we could (by some miracle) do all that in Dec or Jan, we can be looking at houses (hopefully) within the same month. And if we stay here, I have a couple houses I'm looking at... and if we move to Cali, I have a few houses I'm looking at... so... DAMN I'm ready to look at houses! Let the bargaining begin already!
