I would love to be able to build/find a community. But at this point, I kind of have one, but it's in an urban setting... And in such a place that makes some of the other aspects of my life difficult. Plus, one member of the household is only such in name; he lives here, but we only see him when he's coming down for food. He pretty much lives in 2 of the 3 bedrooms of the house; his bedroom and his "computer room".
I would like to live with people that have the same kind of living in mind. Where we can work towards being self-sufficient. I would like to get to the point where we grow 50-100% of our food, collect 50-100% of our electricity (solar, wind, water and/or thermal), composting, composting toilets, gray water recycling...
