So I was contemplating California again... (watching Drive-ins, Diners and Dives and they were showing Santa Cruz Diner and Gorilla BBQ) ... and I asked my beloved if he thought I'd make a good (adopted) Californian. He said, "yes". So, being the curious soul that I am, asked him "Why?" I was answered, in his unusual wisdom, "because you like pot".
Yeah... ummmm.... lol (thought he ended up adding after a long pause, "among other reasons".)

Steve just came up with am amazing idea for when we (eventually) do the long drive as we're moving. He said we should drive up to New York City and take I-80 from there all the way across country. Cool idea, right... it gets better... And we should arrange to make stops in a bunch of towns (as we can) and pick up furniture from craigslist for the new house. Most of hour furniture would have it's own story then, of where we got it and the adventure to pick it up...
I think this would make an amazing roadtrip adventure blog, and we would have mementos from the whole thing!

Well right, that's not the only reason we want to go to CA either, but it definitely helps
we won't even consider going somewhere where pot isn't de-criminalized.
