out with my ex for a few hours... So, I'm calling it a mostly "relax" day. I'm going to try to get something done today, though...

Since Steve has been going to bed early, I'll have some time this evening/night to work on things. Maybe I'll start working on getting the other gown tonight. I know the cutting is the part that takes longest and being able to get some of it started would be good.... maybe today won't be a total waste.
While my girls were with their father, they made jack o'lanterns. I'm glad they got to do some Halloween-y kinds of things. We're going to be having an interesting weekend. We will be part of a wedding. (I'm going to be photographing the wedding as well as being IN it.) There is a short official reception. Then the girls will be going to a birthday party/trick-or-treating; the grownups will be going to the reception afterparty.

It's just amazing - it's like, on FB, I have all my friends - but my family, too, but even so, nobody really gets things like they do here - I can really just be me. I think I'll be sticking around for a long time!
