So, I'm feeling a little better about the house and mortgage and all. Today we got another call from a mortgage company, they told us the same thing the last one did, if we clear up a few things on our credit and have 3% down, that we can get it.
But I'm not feeling as stressed about it. I'm trying to look at it one step at a time. And also remembering that Steve will be working soon too. Once both boys are working, and we're doing everything we can to save money, we should be able to get the money together. $5000 to be able to get a house is really good, and not very much in the "long run". I just need to keep focuses on the little steps.
First little step, I need to get my hubby's credit report today. Once I have that, (as I've already done mine), we can see what else we need to do for our credit. ...It's just weird that we're worrying about credit. It's something that, until recently, never mattered to us. I guess this is part of "growing up" that I never thought about before. I never imagined I would be buying a house.
I'll also need to keep trying to get on to cam, to make some money towards it. With the money I make, I'll be able to pay off all my debt, (I have about $1500 that I owe between collections and my credit cards). If I can get that paid off myself, I'll be in a better situation, myself to do it, and to contribute to getting the house. So, I need to think about other ways of me being able to bring in money.
Also, next week, it looks like I'm going to be able to have "child-free" time! Kali is going to be going to Guatemala, and my mother's going to be taking a few days off and take Lilith for most of a week. So, I'll have time to do cam, and maybe even do that first photo set for SG!
