have a bad case of the seasonal blues... anyone else riding this wave? stupid, crappy holidays. they are all about getting together with family which only makes us sad for the family we've lost. I miss my grandmother who passed away last December and she was my mentor and the biggest influence in my life. I miss my dad who died over 20 years ago and his memory is so distant and faded.
I know - enough with the pity party.... I should pull my head out of my ass and get on with it.

I am really sorry for disappearing for so long.
I've caught up on your blog. Did you make any decision about the psychiatric meds? How's your fibro these days?
My grandmother died last December too. The last of my grandparents to die. Her funeral was a week before Christmas. During a major blizzard.
But the nice thing was that for the first time in many years, my mom and I were able to see some of the rest of our family for the holidays. Not Christmas day itself, but close enough.
As far as seasonal blues goes, I don't experience it. I'm depressed year-round. Actually, Christmas tends to perk me up a teeny bit.
