just back from the beach... the cold, windy beach. 21 celsius? is that all?

dreamed I had a swimming pool and was staring at the peaceful water... but it was too cold to get in.

How long should you poke away at a book before you admit it hasn't really grabbed you and it's time to move on? Have been reading my current book for 6 weeks... only picking it up for half an hour twice a week. I'm not... how you say... sucked in.

so I'm at the gym and some fat guy tells me I should be adding more weight to my machine because it's too light for me. I thought the gym was a place where people didn't judge each other and minded their own business. I told him, as long as we are sharing opinions, your gut is unsightly!

just had a power outage all over the city. funny to watch everyone standing around not knowing what to do. nobody remembers how to live without power.

don't know about the rest of the world, but we Canadians stick it out through 8 months of cold weather waiting for the big pay off. I am currently shaking my fist at the sky. you call this summer? seriously.
