I started reading Ghost Rider by Neil Peart, the drummer of Rush. This is his second book, about the motorcycle journey of healing that he undertook after tragically losing his family. I've always thought he was an interesting person, tremendously intelligent, and one of, if not my favorite ever lyricists. There are so many tragedies endured by so many people, but hearing that bad things...

Mmmm...
Mango Kool-Aid!
I never saw this flavor before. But, I love mango, so I got some, and it actually does taste like mango, not like a candy-sweet impression of it like some "fruit" flavors. Impressive!

I make my Kool-Aid superstrength, of course, but with Splenda, not sugar, so it doesn't count as one of those bad eating habits I've mentioned a few times. At...

I'm going to skip the details and avoid making any negative statements in counter to one thing I have to say:

I am pleased with myself for a good solid start to my renewed working-out routine these past couple of weeks.
Keep it up, self.

Thank you sweets!
wynnesome:
Sweets, hm? Well, the "sweets" should be your birthday cake, and, have a nice day!

Tonight was the second-to-last night of handgun class. Tomorrow we do our written test, shooting qualification, and that's it. We did more practice shooting tonight. Our instructor gave me one suggestion, to squeeze the trigger more with my fingertip, not wrap my finger so far around it. After that, I almost eliminated my pull to the right that I've been having. Here were my last...

I dreamed that myself and 2 or 3 people I was with, but I don't know who they were, had something wrong with our knees. I think we were at some kind of hospital and had already undergone and healed from some kind of surgery. The last step was that they'd taken a tiny piece of bone from each of us, formed it into a...

My day ended up different than I planned/thought it would be today, but not in a problem way.
The lady from my class that I was supposed to go shooting with tonight, cancelled due to work stuff. At least she let me know early in the day, rather than very last minute or not at all.
So I ended up going to the gym for...

William Shatner won the Supporting Actor Emmy for Boston Legal! Yes, this makes me happy. I'm trying to remember if I didn't hear that James Spader was nominated for one also, and of course I REALLY hope he wins, because his character is 90% of the reason I watch the show.
Well, it's on tv downstairs, so I'll either be able to hear it, or...

I've gotten some chores done this afternoon. Yay, having a mildly depressive day, and then doing chores, which aren't particularly fun either. But I just figure, since I'm more than fine enough to keep moving and doing stuff, may as well get the boring stuff done on a "bad" day, and then when I'm having a really good day, I can do fun stuff without...

I'm not feeling great today. Not awful, not sunken into depression, just... some days feel like they have more point, more potential, than others. Or as U2 simply says, "Some days are better than others."

I slept till I felt like getting up, which was a little after 11. And after a while, went to the gym. See, for me, that's one really nice thing...
