I got two new piercings yesterday! Went to Beretta's shop in San Diego, and she was great... very helpful, very professional. Answered all my questions about the piercings I wanted, placements, appropriate jewelry choices, and so on. The piercing process itself was totally smooth... she knows what she's doing!

Tonight we played at Coffeehaven in Long Beach. Little different crowd than Portfolio's... mostly stand-up comics. There were a few other musicians though, and that was more than accepted.

Gremlin and I played at an open mic at Portfolio's in Long Beach tonight. Nice place-- great atmosphere, friendly people, and some really good performers. Particularly inspiring was a duo called "Sandbloom." They vere all-around excellent! Also I had some very tasty hot spiced apple cider.

I have worked on implementing billing systems - it is stunningly complex and brain-warping but like all systems if the input is crap the output tends to match it.
On the other hand we never hear much from customers who are undercharged until we backbill - they thiought it was free - ha!!
