I found this funny

My wife caught me and my cuddly boy cat napping his name is Sam

Earth science is going pretty well I got a 98 on my first test one down two more to go. My professor is Nigerian and a trip, and funny as hell. When he messes up he will proclaim "I flunk". He takes great joy in telling certain students how they are not African-American because they were not born there, and if they keep insisting that they are and start getting angry, he agrees with them but then explains to them that technically everyone is an African-American because as he puts it life originated in "good looking sexy Africa". He is always talking about good looking sexy Africa, and good looking sexy Nigeria in good looking sexy Africa. I am really enjoying the class. The man is brilliant he has three doctorates, they are in geology, geography, and religion. Next term I am taking a geography class that he helped write the text book for, with the instructor of the class. They are both from Nigeria and are tenured professors at two schools here in town. I am really enjoying being back in school.
Hope yall have a good weekend
Edit:
I was almost an asshole.
I want to ask you to take a moment to remember our veterans this weekend and on Monday.
Guys like
badluckbrent who served our country as well as guys no longer with us and a few that are like my personal heroes....

My Grandfather Ervin Shirey Sr career military served in WW2, and Korea, was an officer and was called back to active duty to train young officers during the first gulf war.
My Uncle Ervin (louie) Shirey Jr Career Army
My Uncle Gayle Boykin Career navy Master Chief, and his son Mark also Career Navy Retired as a Commander and teaching rotc in Pensacola now
My wifes Mother Wanna Rutledge-Mathis Army Nurse in Korea
My wifes Uncle Frank Green Airforce retired master sergeant served in Vietnam.
My step Moms father Col. Don Watt Retired served in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam
My Father who served in the Army during the Vietnam era..
Most of these men and women are no longer with us, Those that are, are my Father, Col Watt, my uncle Lou, and my cousin Mark. They never talked about there service though they were proud to have served. My Grandfather, and Uncle Johnny both won purple hearts, and bronze stars, but I have no idea why. These men and women are my personal heroes. They served there country out of duty and a sense of honor, they did not brag about it, but all were and are proud of their service.
I am proud of all of them , and all that are serving now.
