I went to my first SCA event in years this weekend and had a great time. I caught up with old freinds, and realized how much I had missed it.

I looked up the SCA, and it looks like a lot of fun. I noticed that one of the groups was having an SCA Academy this weekend in Aptos- and we just might go and learn something. My husband adors this stuff. There's a smaller Ren Fair in Fresno on November 10th and 11th - that we were going to check out as well. I'm glad for your post - I had no idea that something like this was out there.
We are planning on going to the Exotic Erotic Expo & Ball in San Francisco Halloween weekend - anyone out there going to go too?
