Oh yes, pinneped rescue is where it's at. So glamorous.
I work at The Marine Mammal Center. It's pretty cool, mostly rescue down here. When we did it up in Sausalito we did more care and rehabilitation. Down here we just pick them up and drive them up to the hospital in Sausalito. It's still pretty cool though.
Prices are coming down out here so it might be worth coming out here. I really do like it out here better than east coast but then again I've always been a California girl at heart.

I saw Matrix finally 2 nights ago. That was an awesome movie! I can even get over Keanu saying "Whoa!" again because it was so cool. The sets were very William Gibson/H.R. Giger, which is exactly the scarycool I like. A little Anne Rice Vampiresexy is the only possible improvement on that combination.

Hey Wyatt-thanks for the b-day wishes. Flop and I discussed going on a moto trip last night. I think we might wait until his spring break and go out to southern Utah. But we don't know yet.
Flop and I got a good laugh when you said "do something that scares you like go to a gay bar." Last year I did a project for work where I coordinated a recruit of guys from gay bars and sex clubs. Plus living in SF you can't help but go in gay bars quite a bit.
On the other hand, last year I did do something that I was very afraid of. I started SCUBA diving. Flop talked me into it, plus all those cute little fishies are so irresisible. It is weird to breath under water. I'm getting better though, we had a great dive yesterday morning. Harbor seals swam with us. Pretty fucking cool. Things under the water getting me was my one major fear. I'm not sure I can think of any others. I will try.
Oh, and I will definitly get a big ice cream sundae. You should come out and have one with us.

I hadn't been able to ride my moto in 2 weeks for various reasons (moving, flop hurt his hand, rain, etc). I took it out for the first time in our new town it it felt very very good! I saw 3 cops on a back road that I was riding though, which kinda sucked. So I took it easy and decided not to start off in my new town with some major tickets. Anyway, I may have a lead with some guy at Leguna Seca doing a motorsport museum. I'll let you know if anything happens.
